The most anticipated event of the year, the Chamber's Annual Awards Gala includes networking with business and community leaders as well as dinner. During this celebratory event, the Chamber will recognize members who have volunteered throughout the year, present its annual Excellence in Business Awards, and present its prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.
The annual Monroe Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held in Downtown Monroe on Saturday, December 7 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. More information about celebrations and events will be announced.

Waxhaw's Christmas Parade will be held on Sunday, December 8 at 3 p.m. in downtown Waxhaw featuring local school marching bands, entries and floats by 70 businesses and members of the community and an appearance from a special guest from the North Pole! Announcers cover the entire parade route to make sure that you hear all of the details surrounding the fun entries passing by. The theme for 2024 will be announced soon!
Event Timeline:
2:30 PM: Parade Route closed to inbound traffic. Outbound traffic may still exit.
2:45 PM: Parade Route closed to ALL vehicles.
5:30 PM: Parade Route to re-open for vehicles.
Please try to arrive early and expect delays.
For the safety of our guests and participants, please note that there will no longer be available parking along the parade route. We encourage all of those in attendance to take advantage of the FREE shuttle service.
