Every 2nd Friday, 6PM to....come share some time with family, friends and cars, cars, cars in Historic Downtown Monroe. Hosted by the City of Monroe, Parks and Recreation. Downtown Monroe will bling with chrome and sparkle with the finest paint jobs around during the monthly Car Cruise-Ins. It’s the perfect Friday night event where the entire family crowd the streets of Downtown checking out cool cars and chatting with other car enthusiasts. The 2024 season of the Downtown Monroe Cruise-In kicks off April 12th, and will be held 2nd Fridays, April - October. The event will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Main Street and is open to all cars.

In 2005 Warriors & Warbirds started as a dream of several local pilots. With help from the City of Monroe, the Veterans Council of Union County, local businesses, and the hard work of volunteers, the Warbirds Over Monroe Air Show has grown into one of the area’s largest aviation events honoring those who have served.
The most anticipated event of the year, the Chamber's Annual Awards Gala includes networking with business and community leaders as well as dinner. During this celebratory event, the Chamber will recognize members who have volunteered throughout the year, present its annual Excellence in Business Awards, and present its prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.
